A Call for Help

Hello readers!  I know it's been a while since I've blogged about anything but I just want you to know, I'm still here.

I've been searching for a way to get over the "bump" I've been traveling over for a while.  Have you ever reached a point where you just don't know what you want to do anymore?  I've immersed myself in books and computer games because I'm simply at a loss as to the path I want to travel.  I love to write but anyone who writes knows you hit a block on occasion and it can take a while to get past that block.

Anyway, if anyone has experienced this to any degree, and it doesn't just have to pertain to writing, what did you do to get over that proverbial "bump"?  I'm sure everyone would love some advice and I know I don't want to pay a person $100/hr to hear it..... Just saying!

Until next time,

Halloween Craft

It's Halloween.....It's Halloween....

Now that it's October, my kids are watching all of the Halloween dvds that have been put away all year.  My daughter is into Diego so I have the song from the Halloween show stuck in my head.  For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, be thankful!!

I am trying to figure out what sort of craft thing I'm going to make for my son's classmates.  Since we are in Mexico, I feel it is my duty as an American to show them how Halloween is done!

I subscribe to this blog called Make-it and Love-it.  You may have seen the like on my Facebook page.  I love what Ashley does, I have intentions of making some of her projects some day!  I actually did make my daughter the crumb catcher bibs from her site with the help of a good friend of mine and they are awesome!

I thought the post for today, Pumpkin jars, was extremely cute and wanted to share it with everyone so you can try out this craft project.

Let me know if you tackled it!  I love comments and pics and would love to share with Ashley who came up with such a great idea!

Till next time,
Okie Girl
